Previously, it was difficult for municipalities to enforce such restrictions on major roads, especially state roads, against the authorities. The municipality of Iffeldorf has already seized the opportunity: In Iffeldorf, speed 30 has been on the Hofmark at the primary school for a year. However, nothing has happened in Penzberg yet. There it was said a year ago that they were waiting for a district-wide regulation. The fraction of "Penzberg together" is now pushing the pace. She submitted an application to City Hall: for 30 km / h on several streets in front of schools, old people's homes, kindergartens and sports facilities.

The city council, it says in the application, should apply to the district office for time reductions in order to protect those educational and senior institutions with traffic calming that have a direct exit onto a state road. Specifically, “Penzberg with each other” names Karlstrasse in front of the junior high school and high school, Seeshaupter Strasse both in front of the Montessori school and in front of the “Steigenberger Hof” nursing home, and “Grube” street in front of the Montessori children's house. This involves a section of up to 300 meters at which speed 30 is to be arranged. Markus Bocksberger's group relies on the administrative regulation of the Federal Ministry of Transport on road traffic regulations from 2017.

On the same basis, according to "Penzberg with one another", but also on urban streets with "important social contact points" Tempo 30 should be arranged at a distance of 300 meters. The parliamentary group names Ludwig-März-Straße at the special needs nursery, Schlossbichl at the Protestant children's home and hospital, and Nonnenwaldstraße at the day care center planned there near the stadium. If the city cannot order this itself, it should be applied for at the district office, said the parliamentary group.

Likewise, "Penzberg together" requires a speed 30 zone on the Fischhaberstraße between Heiglhof and Friedhof. The group cites the ESV sports facility as a reason: There is "a specific danger situation" which results from the small distance between the cars parked in reverse and the road. In addition, there is a "dangerous narrowing of the carriageway" on the curve between ESV-Platz and Ahlener Straße. The group also wants traffic-calming measures at the junction of the state road Reindl into Daserweg, where both the municipal kindergarten and the "Spatzennest" daycare centers are located.
