The inspection by the police and firefighters in the house in via Pirandello 55 in Mazara del Vallo which was used by Anna Corona, the ex-wife of Pietro Pulizzi, biological father of little Denise Pipitone, was suspended last night .
The woman is the mother of Jessica Pulizzi (half-sister of the little one who disappeared on September 1, 2004), who ended up on trial and acquitted in the three levels of trial.
The inspection was ordered by the Public Prosecutor of Marsala "to check the state of the places and whether construction works have been carried out" after the reopening of the investigation into Denise's disappearance. In particular, on the basis of some reports received in recent days, the investigators looked for a possible secret room where Denise could have been hidden immediately after the kidnapping and also had a garage with a trap door and a well below inspected. The searches so far have not yielded any results, so much so that no seals have even been placed on the building. It is not yet clear if the searches will resume today and if the investigators believe the investigations are concluded.
