Copenhagen - Sana

The Danish government has allowed 25,000 fans to attend the European Football Championship matches in the capital, Copenhagen.

Reuters quoted the government as saying that it would cancel the use of face masks in most public places after easing the closure restrictions that were applied at the borders.

Denmark imposed strict closures and restrictions in late December in the face of the outbreak of the Corona virus, and then gradually began easing restrictions with the decline in the rate of HIV infections.

Prior to these measures, Denmark allowed about 16,000 fans to attend every football match held in the capital.

The European Nations Cup is scheduled to start from June 11 to July 11, with the participation of 24 European teams, and its competitions will be held in 12 European cities, including the Danish capital, Copenhagen.

In the group stage of the tournament, Denmark will meet with the teams of Finland, Belgium and Russia at the Parken Stadium in the capital Copenhagen, and the same stadium is also scheduled to host a match in the round of 16.

For his part, the Danish Football Association said that it is not yet ready to attend 25,000 fans in the National Stadium during the first match of the Danish team against Finland next Saturday.
