Interview With the Vampire

The cable network AMC is losing its two flagship series this year: "Trust Sol" which has already ended and "The Walking Dead" which on Sunday begins its last batch of episodes.

She hopes to make up for the loss through a new universe of Anne Rice's works, and this is among them: a new adaptation (which was renewed ahead of time for a second season) of the book "Interview with the Vampire", which already received an iconic film version in 1994.

The new adaptation takes place in the present day.

The vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac lives in Dubai and wants to tell the story of his life, or after death, to the well-known journalist Daniel Molloy.

It begins in early 20th century New Orleans and follows his relationship with the vampire to the Stat de Loncourt and the family they created, including young Claudia.

Together, the vampire family faces immortality in New Orleans and beyond.

As the interview continues in Dubai, Molloy discovers the truth beneath Louie's story.

Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm from "Game of Thrones") steps into Brad Pitt's shoes, Sam Reed ("The Rail Man") into Tom Cruise's shoes, Eric Bogosian ("Diamond in the Rough", "Law & Order: Criminal Intent") replaces Christian Slater, and Bailey Bass (soon in the "Avatar" movies) Kirsten Dunst.

is the second season of Rami Youssef's comedy drama on FX on Hulu, about the events of a young American Muslim who is looking for his way (on October 6, also Biss).

is the third and last in the trilogy of specials of the British TV series in which Jodie Whittaker leaves her role as the Doctor, and with her the showrunner Chris Chibnall. The latter's place will be taken next season by Russell T. Davis, the man who brought him back to life the franchise in 2005 and left at the end of that decade.

is the 48th season of the legendary sketch show, which has said goodbye to eight cast members: Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Pete Davidson, Kyle Mooney, Melissa Viaseniore, Alex Moffat, Chris Redd and Aristotle Athari.

In their place, four new comedians will be added, and the first three programs for the season will be hosted by Miles Teller, Brendan Gleason and Megan Di Stallion (on October 6th, Bis and then every Tuesday).

Season 19 (!) of the beloved hospital drama.

Derry Girls

Finally, three years after the previous season ended, the wonderful British comedy returns.

The bad news: this is the last season.

It's understandable, considering that two of the actresses are already in the middle of their fourth decade and the others are just 30 years old. Still sucks.

As you remember, the series follows the exploits of four girls and a small English boy in the nineties in the Irish city torn by battles Londonderry.

The second season ended with the historic peace agreement from 1998, so a new page was opened in the city and in their lives.

Mike Flanagan, creator of "Who Lives at Hill House" and "Midnight Ceremony", returns to Netflix with a new series he created alongside Lea Fong, who worked with him on "Who Lives at Bly Mansion".

The plot follows several teenagers who live in a hospice for the terminally ill, where some of them make a chilling contract: the first of them to die must send the others a sign beyond the grave.

Island of the Sea Wolves (Island of the Sea Wolves)

is a new nature series from Netflix that gives a look at the wild and wonderful Vancouver Island, where the ocean feeds all the wildlife, from the bald eagles that go fishing to the wolves that swim in the frozen waters.

is a new subsidiary series to "Supernatural", the CW's hit series (which is fully available in Israel on Amazon Prime Video, but without Hebrew translation).

The plot goes back in time to follow the parents of the original series protagonists in their youth, John and Mary, and their battles with various demons.

Jensen Ackles, who played Dean in the original series, is producing the new series along with his wife Danielle Ackles, who guested in several episodes of the original series as Anhal.

Jensen is also narrating the spin-off, but that doesn't mean he won't return to the role of Soldier Boy in the fourth season of "The Boys."

סדרת דרמה חדשה של אפל טיוי פלוס המבוססת על ספרו של גרגורי דיוויד רוברטס באותו שם, שיצא בעברית בהוצאת כנרת זמורה ביתן. העלילה מתרחשת בעולם התחתון של בומביי של שנות השמונים ועוקבת אחר אסיר נמלט בשם לין פורד המבקש להיעלם במקום התוסס והכאוטי. לבדו בעיר לא מוכרת, לין נאבק להימנע מהצרות שמהן הוא בורח במקום החדש הזה, אך כשהוא מתאהב באישה אניגמטית ומסקרנת בשם קרלה, עליו לבחור בין חופש לבין אהבה והסיבוכים הנלווים לה. צ'ארלי הנאם ("ילדי האנרכיה") מככב.

סדרת סרטי "סטפ אפ" הפכה לסדרת טלוויזיה כשיוטיוב פרימיום עוד עשתה כאלה לפני מספר שנים (מה שהניב גם את "קוברה קאי" הלהיטית, עוד לפני שנטפליקס רכשה אותה, ואת "Impulse" הנפלאה). שלוש שנים אחרי שהשירות משך את ידיו מהפקת סדרות דרמה, מפזזת ומגיעה העונה השלישית אל רשת הכבלים Starz.

הנדר: כת הסקס של ניו יורק (The Vow)
עונה חדשה לסדרה על הכת "נקסיום" שהסעירה את ארה"ב. קית' רנייר הנהיג במשך שני עשורים את כת "נקסיום" (NXIVM) - כת-סקס, שפעלה בלב ניו יורק ובין חברותיה דמויות מוכרות ורבות השפעה - ביניהן השחקניות ההוליוודיות אליסון מאק ("סמולוויל") ושרה אדמונדסון ("מת לצעוק 4"), היורשת של אימפריית המשקאות "סיגראם", קלייר ברונפמן וביתה של שחקנית "שושלת" קתרין אוקסנברג. העונה השנייה כבר מתרחשת על רקע המשפט הפדרלי של ארה"ב נגד קית' רנייר. הפרקים החדשים מתמקדים במעגל הפנימי ביותר שלו ומביאים סיפורים אינטימיים על ההנהגה הבכירה של NXIVM בארה"ב ובמקסיקו. הסדרה עוקבת אחר מייסדי הקבוצה, תומכיה ועריקיה ומביאה ראיות חדשות וגילויים מדהימים שמתגלים בזמן שהתובעים הפדרליים והסנגורים נאבקים על ההשקפות המנוגדות לגבי עשיית צדק בפרשה המצמררת (למחרת גם ביס, הוט וסלקום טיוי).

שמישהו יאכיל את פיל (Somebody Feed Phil)
עונה שישית לסדרה הקולינרית-דוקומנטרית בכיכובו של פיל רוזנטל (יוצר "כולם אוהבים את ריימונד") בנטפליקס, וגם בה הוא צפוי לבקר בשלל ערים ברחבי העולם ולטעום ממיטב מטעמי המטבחים שלהן.

מיני-סדרת דרמה צרפתית חדשה של נטפליקס, השואבת השראה מסיפוריהם האמיתיים של כבאים צרפתים ובוחנת כיצד השפיעה השריפה שהשתוללה בכנסיית נוטרדאם בשנת 2019 על חייהם של כמה מתושבי העיר.

כנופיית הכפפות הירוקות (The Green Glove Gang)
דרמת פשע פולנית חדשה של נטפליקס. שלוש פורצות מבוגרות שהשוד האחרון שלהן משתבש מסתתרות בבית אבות כדי לחמוק מהרשויות - ומגלות סוד אפל.

האהבה היא עיוורת (Love is Blind)
עונה שנייה לסדרת הריאליטי של נטפליקס, שבמסגרתה נשים וגברים ללא זוגיות מחפשים אהבה ומתארסים - עוד לפני שהם נפגשים.

דוקו עכשיו! (!Documentary Now)
כמעט ארבע שנים אחרי קודמתה, מגיעה העונה ה-53 (בפועל הרביעית) של הסדרה המבריקה של פרד ארמיסן וביל היידר (וגם סת' מאיירס מאחורי הקלעים), שכל פרק בה הוא פארודיה על סרט או ז'אנר תיעודי. בין היתר הפעם: "מורתי התמנונית".

כמעט שנתיים וחצי אחרי קודמתה, מגיעה העונה השנייה של דרמת הפשע האלימה של הבמאי הוולשי גארת' אוונס ("הפשיטה") ברשת סקיי הבריטית. העונה ממשיכה לגולל את ההתרחשויות שאחרי מותו של הגנגסטר הכי חזק בלונדון, פין וואלאס, שקישר בין הכנופיות השונות בעיר. בעוד בנו מנסה להוכיח שהוא יורש ראוי, הוואקום שנותר מוביל למלחמה עקובה מדם על האינטרסים. ג'ו קול ("כנופיית ברמינגהם") מככב (בסמוך גם ביס ובהוט).

אחד מאיתנו משקר (One of Us Is Lying)
עונה שנייה לדרמת הפשע על חמישה תיכוניסטים שונים שמצאו את עצמם ביחד בעונש ריתוק, ואז אחד מהם נרצח (בהמשך גם בנטפליקס).

Inside Amy Schumer
תוכנית המערכונים של איימי שומר חוזרת לראשונה מאז ינואר 2016 עם עונה חדשה, חמישית במספר. בעבר זה היה בקומדי סנטרל (גם בישראל), ואילו הפעם זה קורה בשירות הסטרימינג של החברה האם, פרמאונט פלוס.

עונה שנייה לדרמת האקשן הגרמנית של נטפליקס. גורלותיהם של שלושה אנשים נשזרים זה בזה בקרב יער טויטובורג בשנת 9 לספירה, שבו עצרו הלוחמים הגרמנים את התפשטות האימפריה הרומית.

28 ימים של פחד (28 Days Haunted)
סדרת ריאליטי ואימה חדשה של נטפליקס. שלושה צוותים מבלים 28 ימים בכמה מהאתרים הרדופים ביותר באמריקה, במסגרת ניסוי על-טבעי המבוסס על התיאוריות של אד ולוריין וורן.

אקפולקו (Acapulco)
עונה שנייה לדרמה הקומית של אפל טיוי פלוס, שעלילתה מתרחשת ב-1984 ומגוללת את סיפורו של צעיר שחלומו מתגשם כאשר הוא מקבל את תפקיד חייו כ"נער קבאנה" באתר הנופש החם ביותר באקפולקו.

Ghostwriter
עונה שלישית לרימייק של אפל טיוי פלוס לסדרת ילדים ונוער באותו שם מתחילת שנות התשעים. כאשר רוח רפאים רודפת חנות ספרים שכונתית ומתחילה לשחרר דמויות דמיוניות אל העולם האמיתי, ארבעה ילדים חוברים זה לזה במטרה לפתור תעלומה מלהיבה הנוגעת לענייניה הפתוחים של הרוח.

גיירמו דל טורו מציג: חדר הפלאות (Cabinet of Curiosities)
אנתולוגיית אימה חדשה של נטפליקס, שאצר הבמאי זוכה האוסקר גיירמו דל טורו על פי הסיפור שלו עצמו באותו שם. כל פרק מתוך השמונה מציג סיפור חדש שמבקש לאתגר את מוסכמות הז'אנר הקלאסי. הקאסט כולל בין היתר את אנדרו לינקולן ("המתים המהלכים"), פ' מאריי אברהם ("אמדאוס", "מסע אגדי"), טים בלייק נלסון ("השומרים"), כריספין גלובר ("בחזרה לעתיד"), בן בארנס ("ווסטוורלד"), רופרט גרינט (סרטי "הארי פוטר"), ניה ורדאלוס ("החתונה היוונית שלי") ומרטין סטאר ("עמק הסיליקון"). שני פרקים מדי יום.

Inside Man
דרמה חדשה בת ארבעה פרקים של סטיבן מופאט ("דוקטור הו", "שרלוק", "אשתו של הנוסע בזמן") של נטפליקס ו-BBC, בכיכובם של דיוויד טננט וסטנלי טוצ'י. סיפוריהם של ארבעה זרים שחייהם משתלבים בצורה קטלנית: בארה"ב, אסיר הנידון למוות מבקש כפרה כשהוא עומד בפני הוצאה להורג. ברכבת באנגליה, עיתונאי מחפש סיפור. בכפר קטן ושקט, כומר אוסף את המורה למתמטיקה של בנו מהתחנה. כל הארבעה עומדים להסתבך בדילמה שעלולה להוביל אחד מהם לרצח.

Tales of the Jedi
סדרת אנימציה חדשה של דיסני פלוס, שכל עונה בה מתחקה אחר עברם של אבירי ג'דיי שונים ביקום "מלחמת הכוכבים". העונה הראשונה, המונה שישה פרקים, מתמקדת בשתי דמויות ראשיות: אסוקה טאנו (בדיבובה של אשלי אקסטין), פדוואן לשעבר של אנאקין סקייווקר (קולו של מאט לאנטר) שהוצגה בסדרה "מלחמות המשובטים"; והרוזן דוקו, הג'דיי הבוגדני שירד מגדולתו, שגולם על ידי כריסטופר לי בסדרת הסרטים ואילו כאן מדובב על ידי קורי ברטון.

The Mysterious Benedict Society
עונה שנייה לסדרה של דיסני פלוס העוקבת אחר קבוצת יתומים שחושפים מזימה מרושעת בפנימייה שבה הם לומדים. את המבוגרים מגלמים טוני הייל (איש "Veep" ו"ארסטד דיבלופמנט" בתפקיד כפול, כמר בנדיקט והתאום המרושע שלו), קריסטין שאל ("טיסת הקונקורד") וריאן הרסט ("ילדי האנרכיה") (בהמשך גם בדיסני פלוס ישראל, שכרגע לא כולל אפילו את העונה הראשונה למרות שמדובר בהפקת מקור).

דניאל ספלבאונד, צייד הקסמים (Daniel Spellbound)
קומדיית אנימציה חדשה של נטפליקס. בניו יורק של ימינו, הקסם הוא אמיתי אבל מוסתר מהציבור באמצעות הטעיות ומסכי עשן. אבל דניאל ספלבונד יודע היכן למצוא אותו - כגשש של מרכיבים קסומים, הוא מתפרנס ממכירת סחורות נדירות למכשפים וקוסמים לטובת כישופיהם. אבל כשהוא מגלה מרכיב מוזר, דניאל מושך את תשומת לבם של אלכימאים מסוכנים, ולפתע עליו לבחון את כישוריו בהרפתקה מסביב לגלובוס, בעוד העולם הקסום מונח על הכף.

מסע בין כוכבים: פרודיג'י (Star Trek: Prodigy)
חלקה השני של העונה הראשונה בסדרת האנימציה של פרמאונט פלוס, המיועדת במקרה הזה לקהל צעיר יותר. חמש שנים אחרי עלילת "מסע בין כוכבים: וויאג'ר", קבוצת נערים ונערות מרביע דלתא מוצאת חללית נטושה ויוצאת בה להרפתקאות. על החללית הם נעזרים בהולוגרמה בדמות קפטן קתרין ג'יינוויי מ"וויאג'ר". השחקנית קייט מלגרו שבה להעניק לה את קולה (בהמשך גם בניקלודיאון ישראל בדיבוב לעברית).

שעת השטן (The Devil's Hour)
דרמת אימה חדשה בת שישה פרקים של אמזון פריים וידאו, בכיכובם של ג'סיקה ריין ("מיילדת!", "פטריק מלרוז"), פיטר קפלדי ("דוקטור הו", "בסוד העניינים") וניקש פאטל ("אבק כוכבים"). לוסי מתעוררת מדי לילה מחזיונות מבעיתים בדיוק ב-3:33 לפנות בוקר: שעת השטן. בנה בן השמונה מסוגר וחסר רגשות. אמה מדברת אל כיסאות ריקים. הבית שלה רדוף על ידי הדים של חיים שאינם שלה. כאשר שמה של לוסי קשור באופן בלתי מוסבר לשורה של רציחות אכזריות באזור, התשובות שחמקו ממנה כל השנים הללו יגיעו סוף סוף למוקד.

פה גדול (Big Mouth)
עונה שישית לקומדיית האנימציה הנפלאה למבוגרים של נטפליקס, על תלאות גיל ההתבגרות.

אילו רק ידעתי (If Only)
דרמה פנטסטית קומית רומנטית ספרדית חדשה של נטפליקס. אמה, אישה שהעבירה כבר עשר שנים בנישואים מאכזבים, נאבקת להתמודד עם חייה - עד שהיא מקבלת הזדמנות בלתי נתפסת לחיות את העשור האחרון מחדש.

הבן הממזר והשטן בעצמו (The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself)
סדרת פנטזיה/נעורים בריטית חדשה של נטפליקס. ניית'ן בן ה-16 הוא בנה הבלתי חוקי של המכשפה המפחידה ביותר בעולם. כל חייו עד כה עברו עליו בבחינה מדוקדקת אחר סימנים שיעידו כי הוא עשוי ללכת באותה דרך הרסנית שאביו הלך בה. כאשר המתחים מתגברים, הגבולות הישנים בין טוב לרע מיטשטשים, וניית'ן יגלה איזה מין אדם הוא באמת.

עונה שלישית לדרמת הפשע הפינית בנטפליקס, שמעלה הפעם את הפרקים החדשים בצמוד לשידור בערוץ Yle TV2 בפינלנד. העלילה עוקבת אחר הבלשית והאם היחידנית סופיה קארפי החוקרת גם הפעם מקרה חדש בהלסינקי.

הלוטוס הלבן
עונה שנייה לדרמה של HBO, שזכתה לאחרונה בשלל פרסי אמי בקטגוריית המיני-סדרה (אף שהיא כמובן לא כזו): הבימוי, הכתיבה, שחקן משנה (למוריי בארטלט, שגילם את מנהל כפר הנופש), שחקנית המשנה (ג'ניפר קולידג') וגם כמיני-סדרה הטובה ביותר. העונה החדשה משאירה מאחור את הריזורט בהוואי ועוברת לעקוב אחר קבוצת נופשים חדשה באי סיציליה שבאיטליה. קולידג' חוזרת לגלם את טניה, וסביבה יכלול הקאסט בין היתר את מייקל אימפריולי ("הסופרנוס"), פ' מארי אברהם ("אמדאוס", "מסע אגדי"), אוברי פלזה ("מחלקת גנים ונוף"), ת'יאו ג'יימס ("סנדיטון", "אשתו של הנוסע בזמן") וטום הולנדר ("קינגס מן: ההתחלה") (למחרת גם ביס, הוט וסלקום טיוי).
