The Real Estate Finance Supervisory Authority announced the start of accepting applications to apply for the real estate appraisal expert certificate in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 8 of 2012 regulating the profession of real estate expert and the conditions for practicing this profession, as of the beginning of the official working hours on the 4th of next August.
According to an announcement issued by the commission, SANA received a copy of it. To apply for the real estate appraisal expert certificate, the applicant must have Syrian nationality, full civil capacity, reside in Syria, hold a university degree in economics, law, civil or architectural engineering, and be at least 25 years old on the date of the announcement the exam.
Also, according to the announcement, the applicant must not have been convicted of a felony or a heinous or dishonorable misdemeanour, and must have spent, after graduating, a period of no less than two years as a trainee at a real estate appraisal office duly registered in the practitioners’ registry, where he works as an assistant to an appraisal expert, in addition to submitting a number of personal documents mentioned in the ad text.
Those wishing to obtain the certificate of a real estate appraisal expert can submit their applications to the office of the Real Estate Finance Supervision Authority or the branches of the Engineers Syndicate in the governorates from the date of August 4th until the following September 2.
The profession of a real estate appraisal expert may not be practiced in accordance with Law No. 8 of 2012 except for those who have obtained a license from the Real Estate Finance Supervision Authority and whose name is entered in the register of real estate appraisal experts set by the Authority.
