DIF: 8.5 billion euros transferred to the personal training account

2021-08-04T19:19:45.851Z

According to the latest data transmitted by the Ministry of Labor, 7.28 million people have funded their personal training account.

Since January 1, 2015 and the implementation of the Personal Training Account (CPF) instead of the Individual Right to Training (DIF), 8.5 billion euros have been transferred to the accounts for hours acquired .

According to the latest data sent to us by the Ministry of Labor on Wednesday, 7.28 million people supplied the CPF with their DIF balance between 2015 and July 5, 2021 at midnight, the deadline for repatriating the hours acquired from the DIF to his successor.

Impossible, on the other hand, to know the amount of the acquired rights which were not transferred in time.

Recovering the money from the DIF has therefore enabled these employees to finance millions of training courses, "in particular in the sectors of transport, handling and warehousing, training in techniques and job search, in modern languages, but also in IT, and in the security sector, ”explains the Ministry of Labor.

All employees, unemployed and civil servants have an assigned CPF

Among these new beneficiaries “there are more women than before, with 50.4% of men and 49.6% of women), but also more young people (12% of 16-25 years old, up from to the first million beneficiaries, then made up of 10% of young people in this age group) and more job seekers: they represent a third of the people concerned, ”continues Rue de Grenelle.

All employees, unemployed and civil servants now have a monetized and assigned CPF account.

Each holder can easily consult their rights, search, register and pay for the training of their choice.

For someone who had never used their DIF, this represented a maximum of 120 hours, which have since been converted into euros at the rate of 15 euros per hour, or a potential of 1,285 euros.

Since January 1, 2019, the CPF is no longer supplied in hours, but in euros at the rate of 500 euros per year (800 euros for unqualified employees), within the limit of 5,000 euros (or 8,000 euros ).

The government wants to ban canvassing

A jackpot that had aroused the greed of training centers, but also crooks as we had revealed on March 21.

The damages for the victims can range from a few hundred to several thousand euros.

Faced with the multiplication of these abuses, and in order to fight against the abusive canvassing of certain training organizations, the Ministry of Labor is preparing a law aimed at prohibiting telephone canvassing (phone call or SMS).

It is about putting an end to aggressive marketing prospecting, which often amounts to harassment.

The law will be inspired by that put in place after the abuses observed in the context of energy renovation, which prohibits any telephone canvassing aimed at proposing renovation work for housing.
