It is possible in Dervio, on Lake Como, where tomorrow the original outdoor area will be inaugurated, designed to offer its guests an exceptional experience: "Dinner in the Sky".
It is a structure made up of a table for 22 people, inside which there is a space in which the service personnel work, for a maximum of 5 people. Once the guests have taken their position in the comfortable leather seat, the 5-ton table is lifted on 16 steel cables, by a crane, to a height of 50 meters. tail of the pandemic, it has become not only a pleasure but a necessity, which has prompted restaurateurs all over the world to organize themselves with special outdoor areas in every available space. And the "Dinner in the Sky" formula has taken a further step, making it possible to experience a lunch or dinner 'at high altitude', to combine the safety of eating in a context, where the circulation ofair is maximum, to the pleasure of enjoying unique views from a privileged position.
On June 18, on the occasion of the inauguration in Dervio, the menu will be themed, designed for the occasion by the starred chef Luca Gandola of the Salice Blu restaurant in Bellagio (Co), with a selection of wines offered by the Venetian company Bottega, sponsor at the event. In this context Stefano Bottega will hold a special Masterclass, explaining the production methods and the peculiarities of the Riserva Privata Barricata, a Riserva di Amarone grappa, characterized by hints of honey, vanilla, toasted cocoa and spices.
