The change of speech of the main defendant

Describing himself as an "Islamic State fighter" at the opening of the proceedings, the last survivor of the commando who sowed death on the night of November 13, 2015 gradually changed his speech during the trial.

The 32-year-old Frenchman repeatedly affirmed at the hearing that he "gave up" on triggering his explosive belt on the evening of the attacks, "out of humanity".

The irreducible perpetuity required against Abdeslam

As a reminder, the Pnat requested life imprisonment with an incompressible security period against Salah Abdeslam.

In a plea aimed at avoiding this "slow death penalty", his defense recalled that the sentence had only been pronounced four times, against men recognized as "psychopaths" and convicted of crimes committed against minors.
