Schwangau - A mountaineer from Austria died in a crash in the Ammergau Alps near Schwangau (Ostallgäu district *).

Ultimately, a Bavarian police helicopter, which is equipped with special cameras, discovered the man's body in a steep gully.
For the 38-year-old, however, any help came too late.
According to the information, the alpinist fell around 200 meters on the Apostelgrat, on the Bavarian side of the mountain region.
The recovery of the body was carried out by three Bavarian alpine police officers and a mountain rescuer from the Füssen mountain rescue service.
