It is the second recall of this type within a few days.
Again dangerous bacteria were found - and again it is the same manufacturer.

goat's cheese was

contamination
in its cheese.
Bacteria, so-called “Listeria monocytogenes”, have
already been found in the
“goat cheese roll creamy”
of the “Meine Käserei” brand, which not only cause severe stomach and intestinal diseases, but
also
blood poisoning
and
brain or brain
disease in
small children
and people with a weakened immune system
Meningitis
can evoke.
The bacteria can be particularly dangerous for pregnant women, as in the worst case they can cause premature births or miscarriages.

Lidl recall: This French soft cheese should no longer be eaten
Not only did the
discount chain Lidl
have to
extend
the nationwide
recall campaign
of some batches of goat's cheese to
include
the entire product regardless of its best-before date, it is now evidently another product from the same manufacturer that has to be recalled immediately: This time it is a
French soft cheese.
As the
cheese dairy from Laupheim
now reports,
E. coli
bacteria
, more precisely verotoxin-producing "Escherichia (E.) coli", were detected.
The
soft cheese products
affected by this recall
were also available from Lidl nationwide.
For "reasons of consistent consumer protection", Lidl supports the recall of its supplier
JERMI
and calls on all affected customers to
pay
attention to the given
health risk
and not to consume the cheese, but to return it - even
if the
best-before
date has already passed.
The soft cheese with the name
"Brie de Nangis"
in the
100 gram
package is affected.
With the help of the
DE BW 331 EG ID
, the two
lot numbers 394
and
395
, and the
best before date October 27, 2020
, Lidl customers can tell whether they are affected by the recall.
Warning, a #food recall!
Jermi Käsewerk GmbH calls back the "My cheese dairy Brie de Nangis" and the "My cheese dairy goat cheese roll" (sold at Lidl).
Reason: detection of verotoxin-producing E. coli bacteria or listeria.

reports, only the
“Brie de Nangis” is
contaminated with E. coli bacteria: “Other
products sold
at
Lidl Germany
are not affected by the recall.” The discount chain wants all customers who return the Brie at Lidl without a receipt Refund purchase price.
While an
E. coli infection
(VTEC) can occasionally be completely symptom-free, it can still result in nausea, vomiting and diarrhea after two to ten days.
Usually, however, the incubation period is three to four days.
The developed
gastrointestinal flu
to
enterohemorrhagic colitis,
an
inflammatory bowel disease,

Because the pathogenic
"Escherichia coli"
can also lead to severe
