This issue of the quality of life at work - and the Best Workplaces award shows it - is not only the concern of start-ups who are fighting to attract young talents who are increasingly demanding and who want to find meaning in their work.
In this 2021 ranking, there are also more traditional companies.

The oldest in the ranking, this distributor of hardware products to professionals is celebrating its 132 spring this year.
Or Manutan, younger with his 50s.
Two very “old economy” companies which have been able to adapt, notably taking the Internet turn.

Known for its flagship product, GoreTex textiles, this American family company is guided by values that irrigate its subsidiaries outside the United States.
The Great Place To Work valuation method
To assess the companies in the Best Workplaces ranking, Great Place to Work proceeds in two stages.
On the one hand, the Trust Index, a 73-point questionnaire, is sent to all employees.
For the survey to be validated, a minimum participation rate is required.
This rate varies depending on the size of the business.
On the other hand, the Culture Audit is a file completed by the company on its managerial practices.
This audit is carried out by a team from Great Place to Work.
The Great Place to Work certification is a first level of recognition awarded to companies that obtain a positive response rate to the Trust Index of at least 65%.
All companies certified during the year and having obtained a minimum score of 30 out of 60 in the Culture Audit are then eligible for the Best Workplaces ranking.
