Today, the Russian Coordination Center distributed food aid to the people of Al-Suwayra town, in the Lajat area in Daraa countryside.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the head of the Suwaymrah town council, Mohsen Al-Ateeq, said that the humanitarian aid is a sincere expression of the depth of relations between the Syrian and Russian peoples.
One of the town's notables, Hussein Al-Samir, said that this aid leaves a great positive impact on the hearts of the people.
The town's mayor, Hassan al-Shammari, thanked the town's residents for the Russian Federation's support for the Syrian people, in order to overcome their ordeal.
The official of the Russian Coordination Center, Farbiov Alexander, indicated that the center distributed 450 food rations to the people of the town of Al-Suwaymarah, from poor families, martyrs' families, and people with special needs, pointing out that this comes within the framework of the strong friendship existing between the Russian and Syrian peoples.
