The district league team TSV Dorfen showed a different face than the last 5-1 defeat in Freising in the second test away at the state league team TSV Ampfing.
Ampfing/Dorfen – The numerous Dorfen fans who traveled saw a well-deserved 2-0 (2-0) victory for their team.
The statement made by Dorfen's trainer Christoph Deißenböck at the start of training was confirmed, that with the six new players the squad was "much strengthened" and "broadly and qualitatively improved".
There were five new players in the TSV starting XI, and regulars like Gerhard Thalmaier, Michael Friemer, Fabio Zöller, Andreas Hartl, Alexander Heilmeier and Benedikt Hönninger were missing.
Nevertheless, the Deißenböck team presented themselves astonishingly harmonious and played as if they were made of one piece over long stretches.
The committed appearance and the disciplined, offensive power football of Dorfen seemed to surprise the Ampfinger, who according to coach Rainer Elfinger also had to do without some regular players.
TSV put on enormous pressure, which paid off with the quick lead (7th) through newcomer Leon Eicher.
He had completed a low cross with confidence.
Dorfen, still going forward, made it 2-0 (18 th ) after a nice attack through the middle.
Offensive sprinter Manuel Zander pulled away after a fine pass and lurched over Ampfing's goalkeeper Domen Bozjak from the edge of the penalty area.
While Dorfen subsequently had opportunities to improve the result, the hosts did not come to a really dangerous conclusion.
Only after half-time did Ampfing first ignite the turbo and pressed the Dorfen goal.
But the onslaught faded again.
In the end there were two good chances to score and a shot on the post, but no goal.
For their part, the Isenstadt team still had a few top scoring chances, but missed them.
Even after a few changes, there was no break in the Dorfen game.
Much to the delight of coach Deißenböck, who had no reason to complain.
TSV will play the next preparatory game this Sunday.
The game will be played at 2 p.m. in Munich at Westpark against FC Neuhadern.
