It's been almost forty years since the arrival of sunny days Xavier pushed the door of a Vilebrequin boutique to renew his stock of swimsuits.
Obviously, for this 60-year-old Parisian who spends all his holidays in Saint-Tropez.
“I buy one or two a year, to replace the ones I've worn out too much.
Sometimes my wife chooses for me.
In any case, the more fanciful the pattern, the better!
After all, it's a summer garment, ”he
laughs.
His son, Nicolas, remembers in particular an
“incredible shorts with crab pattern, which he wore more than reason”.
He also adopted during childhood, then in adolescence, the models of the famous brand founded in 1971:
"For me, they embody a certain French look, a bit like the Lacoste polo shirt or the Hermès tie."
