Thanks to a strong mobilization on social networks, a Parisian restaurateur was able to be reunited with her animal a week after her

Ziggy.

His name is Ziggy, she's crazy about him, and she's not the only one.

Thanks to an impressive mobilization on social networks, Clara managed to find her dog, which had been stolen from her a week earlier, in front of her restaurant in Paris (Xe).

A homeless man had kidnapped this Jack Russell chihuahua cross to take him with him to do the round in Cannes (Alpes-Maritimes).

The one-year-old animal is doing like a charm despite this long journey without its mistress.

"Ah you found it!"

I am so happy.

This Tuesday afternoon, the residents of the rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin are smiling in front of the restaurant Zoé Bouillon.

Clara, the young manager, holds the doggie in her arms, who closes his eyes with happiness.

On Monday April 12, around 2 p.m., the take-out delivery service ends at the restaurant.

Clara chats with a customer while the dog lays in the sun on the doorstep.

No fear that he will move away.

With his mistress, they are inseparable.

“I take him every morning on my scooter.

To tell the truth, I take it everywhere.

But when the young woman looks up, Ziggy is gone.

“I start looking for him in the street.

Then I got on my scooter to make rounds to République.

It was horror.

"

In the evening, still nothing.

Clara is flooding social networks with messages.

And there, an almost uncontrollable machine sets in motion.

The operation "We must find Ziggy" is launched.

A first Internet user reports it on the University quay with a homeless man.

Each time, the young woman jumps on her scooter but always arrives too late.

Reports throughout Paris, but without result

When she complains to the police station, officially, she is made to understand that finding a dog is not a priority for the police. But unofficially, the hunt has been ordered. Among the crews, laptops are heating up. "Hi colleague, do you remember the description of the homeless man with the dog?" "Colleague" response: "Hi, yes. Male 40-45 years old, European, 1.75 meters, shoulder-length black hair slightly curly, hooked nose. I passed him on Boulevard de l'Hôpital. The puppy looks like a soft toy. "

For several days, Ziggy is spotted on Quai Branly, near the Eiffel Tower.

But he's elusive.

Clara tries her luck with the homeless, goes to a Roma camp in Vitry (Val-de-Marne).

“Everyone has been lovely to me.

They told me that with a cute little dog, you could make 300 euros a day by doing the sleeve.

People really wanted to help me.

" In vain.

“I waited every evening around 11 pm for the reports on social networks.

Thursday, nothing.

I was desperate.

»On Friday, a dramatic turn of events.

Paris (Xe), April 27.

After having lived the anguish, Clara can finally hug Ziggy, who closes her eyes with happiness.

Denis courtine

"I am sure I saw your dog at Clermont-Ferrand station (Puy-de-Dôme)," wrote a user.

Clara ended up creating a WhatsApp group for research.

“That people touched by my story.

Some had lost their dogs.

They transposed.

There was a lady, Maria, who never let go.

One of her friends, who runs a grooming salon, arrives late to catch her train at Cannes station.

She recognizes Ziggy with a homeless man.

She goes to see the guy and makes him believe that she wants to buy the dog for 2000 euros.

She takes a picture and sends it to the group.

People were going nuts.

They wrote

It's him!

"

A vet closes her practice to save Ziggy

Clara immediately calls the Cannes police station. “The police told me they didn't want to intervene. I called the nearest vet. And there, again a miracle. Without arguing, the practitioner closes her office and rushes to the station. Meanwhile, the whole WhatsApp group is harassing the police station. The police eventually call rail security. The veterinarian is the first on site. "I have it on display," she reassures Clara, while awaiting the arrival of the officials.

But the SDF does not want to let go of the animal like that.

“He said he had bought it in Germany five months earlier,” explains the young restaurateur.

The railway security officers are in trouble.

Who to believe?

The providential veterinarian then takes out her device to activate the dog's electronic chip.

It is Ziggy, who will have the right to a free consultation showing that he has been well treated by the homeless.

Still thanks to the improvised mutual aid network, the dog was then taken to Avignon station (Vaucluse) where Clara came to pick it up by plane with the help of a couple of private pilot friends.

From this incredible affair, Ziggy kept the medallion in the shape of a small star that the homeless had put on him.

“I left him.

It is also its story.
