According to Freedom House, of the 41 countries consistently classified as “free” from 1985 to 2005, 22 have experienced sharp declines in freedom over the past five years.
This process of regression does not spare the democratic groups which seem more solid.
We remember that, significantly, the year 2021 ended with a “summit of democracies” initiated by President Joe Biden.
And indeed, the democratic world feels the new threat…
