Outraged by the social network's decision to moderate three of his writings for misinformation about postal voting and the glorification of violence, Donald Trump signed a decree last week aimed at modifying the platform's liability regime. Section 230 of the 1996 Communication Decency Act is the cornerstone of the American web. It states in principle that online platforms cannot be prosecuted for content published by their users. The American president wishes to reconsider this immunity.
