A 4-year-old child died this Friday in the Saint-Vit sector (Doubs) and his parents were taken into custody to be heard, we learned from the Besançon prosecutor.
"The child was taken care of this (Friday) morning at 8:00 am while he was with his mother on the public road, he was seriously injured," prosecutor Etienne Manteaux told AFP.
Despite the intervention of the emergency services, he did not survive.
"At this stage of the investigation of the Saint-Vit gendarmerie company, we do not know at all what happened", underlined the magistrate, specifying that the investigations were in progress and that no track is n 'was privileged for now.
