Dozens of Palestinians were injured and suffocated today as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of an anti-settlement demonstration in Beit Dajan village, east of Nablus, in the West Bank.
Wafa news agency quoted a member of the Popular Committee for Land Defense in the village, Salim Abu Jaish, as saying that the occupation forces fired bullets and poison gas canisters at the participants in the demonstration that came out in protest against the establishment of a new settlement outpost in the village, which resulted in the injury of a number of them, including a journalist and dozens of cases of suffocation. .
The village of Beit Dajan witnesses demonstrations every Friday to protest against the occupation’s plans to seize parts of its lands and establish outposts.
