Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
Dozens of Palestinians were injured and suffocated today as the Israeli occupation forces suppressed a weekly demonstration in the village of Kafr Qaddoum against settlements and demanding the opening of the village street, which was closed for 18 years, east of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
The coordinator of the popular resistance in Kafr Qaddoum, Murad Shteiwi, was quoted by Wafa news agency as saying: The occupation forces stormed the village and fired bullets and poison gas canisters at the participants in the demonstration, which led to dozens of injuries.
The village of Kafr Qaddoum witnesses continuous demonstrations against the occupation on Friday and Saturday, which have become part of the public life in the village, whose lands were devoured by the apartheid wall and settlements.
