“The central question
is
: where does the bacteria come from?”,
declares the lawyer, Maître Pierre Debuisson, who affirms that at least four families have already filed their complaint.
As for the state of health of the victims of these contaminations,
“these are transfused children, who present lesions to the kidneys, the liver, with risks of the brain, the heart or the lungs”,
notes the lawyer.
Opening an investigation
Friday, the Paris prosecutor's office opened an investigation for "
manslaughter
", "
deception
" and "
endangering others
" after several serious cases of contamination by the bacterium Escherichia coli possibly linked to the consumption of Buitoni frozen pizzas.
