Earnings, in September the floor would be updated

It is expected for September that the floor will be updated from which the workers begin to pay the Income Tax

.

The decree would be published this month and would raise the floor that is currently for gross salaries of up to $ 150,000 per month.

A month ago, the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Massa, had anticipated that the non-taxable minimum would be raised.

The decision is given by the reopening of joint ventures, in order to prevent 1.2 million workers from being harmed.

"In September we have a new update of the minimum non-taxable Profit," he

said.

Massa anticipated that the law that allowed raising the non-taxable minimum of Income Tax for workers with salaries of up to $ 150,000, would be discussed again if the target population was again impacted by the tax due to the salary updates closed in the last months.

"We work to protect and alleviate the situation of the workers; and also, as the joint ventures are on the rise and improve income,

in the case of Earnings we have provided a trigger clause, to accompany the improvements in the month of September"

, Sergio Massa remarked .

The Law approved last April allows considering the new salary guidelines and the Government has the power to update the floor without going through Congress again.

Now it remains to know what the amount of the new floor will be.

, expires

.
