Etty Peleg Cohen,

Eitan's maternal grandmother, reported Aya Biran Nirko

, paternal aunt of the child who survived the Mottarone tragedy and was her foster

care, to the Tel Aviv police

.

This was reported by TV N12 according to which the complaint refers to the "illegal use of cell phones found in the home of the parents" of Eitan who died on the Mottarone and also "

the theft of jewels, Ipads, cameras and the illegal use" of computer contents

in the pending lawsuit in Israel.

The complaint - according to the same source - also states that "the Biran Nirko family has activated a fundraiser on the net presumably intended for the well-being and psychological treatment of Eitan, but which would have been used" for legal costs.

The broadcaster picked up a statement from the woman as she exited the Tel Aviv police station.

"I am Eitan's grandmother - she said in the report - and I do everything to protect him. I hope that we will be able to keep him here in Israel and that the child will live in his homeland and with his people".

N12 also reported a reaction from Aya Biran Nirko's lawyers that the "complaint is unfounded. When a person is upset they should not be judged".

Meanwhile, the judge of the Tel Aviv Family Court is preparing to issue a sentence on the lawsuit brought by Aya herself, based on the Hague Convention, for Eitan's immediate return to Italy.

The decision is expected in the coming days.
