Etty Peleg, former wife of Shmuel Peleg and maternal grandmother of little Eitan, is also under investigation for the kidnapping of the 6-year-old child. The maternal grandmother of little Eitan, the only survivor of the tragedy of the Mottarone cable car of 23 May, would have been in Italy with her ex-husband at least in the days preceding the alleged kidnapping. The role of the woman, therefore, in the investigation of the Prosecutor of Pavia for kidnapping (aggravated by the fact that the victim is a minor), is to be verified. In fact, she could have helped her ex-husband to bring the baby to Israel, where he arrived on a private flight from Lugano. Yesterday it was the same paternal uncle of Eitan, who lives with his wife Aya, the child's legal guardian, in Pavia, who accused his maternal grandmother of complicity in the kidnapping. Even if, based on rumors collected,it was reported that the woman would have returned to Israel before the day of the alleged kidnapping which took place last Friday. Aya herself had said, however, that her grandfather, when he arrived to pick up Eitan for the visit he had been granted, parked far from the house and, therefore, it is not clear if there were other people waiting for him in the car. The investigation into the alleged accomplices continues.
