England were held to a goalless draw with Scotland after a lackluster performance in the European Football Championship Group D at Wembley Stadium today.
The post headed home England defender John Stones in the 12th minute, while Scotland's Stephen O'Donnell forced goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to block a superb volley.
In the second half, Scotland goalkeeper David Marshall made a good performance to save a low shot from Mason Mount, while guest striker Che Adams missed a good opportunity in the 78th minute.
England raised its tally to four points to share the lead with the Czech Republic, which will host it next Tuesday at Wembley as well, while Scotland has one point equal with Croatia before their meeting in Glasgow on the same day.
