Another window of the European Cup qualifiers has come to an end tonight (Tuesday) with some dramas and another hat-trick from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Denmark has joined Germany as the second team to secure a place in Qatar 2022, while England will wait until next month after a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Hungary.

Serbia is still ahead of Portugal in House A, Sweden overtook Spain in House B and Switzerland clung to Italy at the top of House C.

Portugal - Luxembourg 0: 5

After becoming the European footballer with the most international appearances ever, Cristiano Ronaldo tonight improved his record as the all-time top scorer with an easy hat-trick that raised his tally to 115.

The veteran star scored from the penalty spot in the eighth minute, after a foul on Sebastian Thiel on Bernardo Silva and a VAR check, and after five minutes Pendel squeezed himself, scored, the referee awarded a repeat kick and he scored again.

Bruno Fernandez joined the celebration in the 18th minute with a sharp kick from a diagonal angle on the right.

Ronaldo missed and also provided an incredible haircut that the top goalkeeper, and immediately afterwards substitute Joao Palinia slammed in in the 69th minute, but the captain had enough time and in the 87th minute he slammed in after Ruben Neves' level.

Portugal are still one point behind Serbia at the top of the table, but have a game in hand (in Ireland) and in the final round three days later they will host the Serbs in a direct battle for a World Cup ticket.

Serbia - Azerbaijan 1: 3

Despite an embarrassing mistake by Predrag Rejkovic in the extra time of the first half, Serbia achieved a fifth victory in the campaign and will reach its last game against Portugal when it is in first place and still undefeated.

Dusan Valahovic was the man of the Serbs in this game, when he started at the expense of Alexander Mitrovic and returned with a penalty in the 30th minute and a rebound in the 53rd minute, after the temporary equalizer of Amin Mahmoudov courtesy of ex-Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Dusan Tadic signed for Pendel in the 83rd minute.

To his delight, the friends made sure that his mistake did not affect.

Sweden - Greece 0: 2

Spain surrendered on Sunday in the League of Nations final to France and tonight lost the summit in the World Cup qualifiers in favor of Sweden, which remained solely dependent on itself.

Next month, in the qualifying game, Sweden will host Spain, and they will come away with two points.

After a Greek-controlled first half, with a crossbar, crossbar and an unmarked goal, Alexander Isak clearly failed in the box and Emil Forsberg kicked in in the 59th minute.

10 minutes later, goalkeeper Robin Olsen sent a long ball that reached Isak, and the striker passed the goalkeeper, laid down a defender and rolled in his fourth of the campaign.

Pantalis Chazidiacos was sent off four minutes to go.

Lithuania - Switzerland 4: 0

After two draws in the game window in September, Switzerland beat Northern Ireland last week and now achieved another victory, securing at least second place and also equaling Italy at the top with 14 points - a month before the direct meeting at Olimpico.

The visitors took the lead after 31 minutes, as a result of Jardan Shakiri's awkward, but ultimately successful, shot from the right.

Renato Stefan doubled with an elegant bounce in the 42nd minute and after three minutes another Shakiri corner found Ambolo, who this time scored with his foot.

Mario Gavranovich signed in overtime.

Ukraine - Bosnia 1: 1

France, the winner of the Fresh Nations League, although with only 12 points from six games, but its place in the World Cup is quite guaranteed and the battle for second place remains completely open.

Ukraine recorded a sixth draw in the campaign, Bosnia a fourth draw, separated by two points and Finland, which is only one point behind Andrei Shevchenko's team.

A beautiful offensive move gave the hosts an advantage in the 15th minute, when Viktor Zygenkov received a ball in the box and passed a pass to Andrei Yarmolenko who allowed close range.

Bosnia's brilliant attack led to an equalizer in the 77th minute, when Stebanovic bounced towards the brakeman Anel Ahmadinejadic who continued from the air to the net.

Again a mess in the stands.

England - Hungary 1: 1

After 15 consecutive qualifiers in which he scored, since September 2017, Harry Kane could not find the net this time and without his goals England could not win.

After the riots of the Hungarian crowd in the English 0: 4 in the previous meeting, this time they caused riots in the stands of Wembley and confronted the policemen during the opening minutes.

Those who remained in the stands, got to celebrate in the 23rd minute, when Roland Schlai stunned Pendel after an unnecessary foul on left-back Luke Shaw.

England pressed and 14 minutes later managed to equalize, with a free-kick from Phil Puden passing them all and stopper John Stones scoring from close range.

Despite this, in the second half an upheaval was not completed, Raheem Sterling missed against Peter Goulachi and England will wait until next month to close a story.

Bottles and a variety of objects were thrown from the stands after the gate.

Albania - Poland 1: 0 (Half 2)

The host has won its last three games in the campaign, twice beating Hungary and in between crushing San Marino, thus overtaking Poland who have scored 16 goals in their last three victories, but in between have stumbled in a 1-1 draw against England.

Robert Lewandowski did not score in the 0: 5 over San Marino on Saturday and Poland hopes he will raise his balance to at least seven goals in the campaign.

Adam boxed next to him on the edge, while on the other hand the Albanians are missing three players who were infected in Corona and the injured Brat Gimshiti.

The tie was maintained until the 77th minute, when a clichéd mountain pickup and substitute Carol Shvidersky, who came in just six minutes earlier, fired in from the air.

Polish players celebrated and snatched a barrage of objects from the Albanian stands.
