(ANSA-AFP) - ANKARA, MAY 16 - Turkey "will not give in" to the accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO.
This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
"How can we trust them?" Said Erdogan, once again accusing Finland and Sweden of hosting the Kurds of the PKK.
Sweden in particular, says the Turkish president, is "a breeding ground of terrorist organizations".
"We will not give in on NATO membership of those who apply sanctions against Turkey," said Erdogan.
