Nothing is known about her, except that she nurtures a passion for archeology which is sometimes used in the service of her investigations. It was she who confessed Michel Fourniret. It was she who made a giant leap in the investigation into the murder of Estelle Mouzin. In 2019, Sabine Kheris was however the eighth investigating judge to inherit the case of this girl who disappeared on a road in Seine-et-Marne 16 years earlier. Most of his predecessors had ruled out the Ogre des Ardennes trail. There was this white van, characteristic of the serial killer's "hunts", but the latter had an alibi. She shattered it. The French legal system is thus made that a case passes from hand to hand according to the transfers. By taking a new post, the magistrates discover dozens of cases in progress, thefts, robberies, scams ...

To update that of Estelle Mouzin, Judge Kheris had to cram some 80 volumes and 85,000 pages of minutes, wiretaps, suppletives, interrogations, expertises, analyzes , summaries, requests for legal acts ... accumulated since the opening of the judicial investigation in 2003. Patiently, methodically, discreetly, Judge Kheiris quickly forged a conviction: that of the involvement of Fourniret in the disappearance of the girl. She identified her personality and that of her former companion, Monique Ollivier to finally obtain a confession. For months Judge Kheris worked with psycho criminologists to try to unravel the psychological springs of the murderer. Provocative to the end, the latter confided to have found "an interlocutor at his height".

The investigative work that remains to be done is Himalayan. It will be necessary that other judges as resolute and as perceptive (and there are more than one said), try to make speak the 35 DNA mysteries found in the Fourniret cases.
