The French Football Federation has posted a rapper's title online to accompany the list of 26 names of players selected for the Euro

“Write my name in blue, call out my name in blue.

Write it down.

The French Football Federation (FFF) posted a song on Wednesday to accompany the announcement, made the evening before, of the list of 26 players selected by Didier Deschamps to play Euro 2021 (June 11 - 11 July).

A title, interpreted by rapper Youssoupha.

"How the fuck is it good to announce this list," the artist wrote on her Instagram account.

A way to once again welcome the return of Karim Benzema to the France team after almost six years of absence.

Tuesday evening, Youssoupha had already welcomed his presence in the list of 26 in a story posted on the social network.

In the clip, some players appear in front of landscapes with no apparent link to their career, others are entitled to images of their own.

PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe is represented with the Eiffel Tower in the background, while AS Monaco striker Wissam Ben Yedder stands out against the back of a futsal hall, he who has long practiced this discipline in Garges-lès-Gonesse (Val-d'Oise).

Another reference slipped into the clip, the now famous skylight of Evry-Courcouronnes (Essonne) in front of which is presented the striker Marcus Thuram.

A window of this city which attracts for the difficulty to send a ball inside it.

It remains to be seen how successful this song will be.

The title "Bring the cup home" from Vegedream had become the unofficial anthem of the Blues in the wake of their victory at the 2018 World Cup. "We will change, we will create another music," said Didier Deschamps, launched on this sentence by journalist Marie Portolano during her interview broadcast Tuesday evening on TF1 and M6.
