Group B of this Euro 2021 is a rather affordable pool for Belgium, the number 1 nation in the FIFA rankings which has chained the victories since last year, especially against England in November 2020 (2-0). The team of Roberto Martinez and his first assistant, Thierry Henry, benefits from a golden generation in all positions. From Thibaut Courtois in the cage to Romelu Lukaku in attack, via Youri Tielemans (ex-Monegasque) in the middle of the field, Belgium is a favorite for the final victory of the Euro.

The only downside for the Red Devils: the injury to the face of captain and maestro Kevin De Bruyne during the Champions League final on May 29.

The Spanish coach said, however, that "Kevin may be available to play at the Euro, but we do not know when" (he is already guaranteed not to play the first match).

Behind this great favorite, Denmark, Russia and Finland are considered outsiders.

Denmark, led by its star in midfield Christian Eriksen, has a series of convincing victories, including a 4-0 against Austria last March and a draw against England in early June (1-1).

She will also have the advantage of playing her three group matches at home at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.

Russia, meanwhile, can rely on their 1.97m giant at the forefront of the attack, Artem Dzyuba, and their two home games at Gazprom Arena (in St. Petersburg).

Powerful and complete, the Russian selection of Stanislav Cherchesov will seek to do better than in 2008 when it reached the semi-finals (defeat against the future Spanish winners).

Finally, Finland is the most inexperienced of the four teams since Euro 2020 is the first major international competition where they play the final phase.

Despite a convincing victory against the French world champions in November 2020 (0-2), the Nordic selection has not confirmed and has multiplied defeats or draws since the start of the year.

Thus, Belgium is the big favorite of this group in front of the Russian and Danish selections who hope for a place in eighth while Finland is without great ambition but will play its luck bravely.
