A great achievement for Israel's artistic swimming team, which finished fifth today (Thursday) in the final of the technical exercise at the European Championships being held in Rome, Italy.
The team won a score of 82.9956 points, with the gold medal being awarded with great excitement to Ukraine, who won quite a few cheers because of the war at home, when they received 92.5106 points, second was the host Italy with 90.3772 points and third was France with 88.0093 points.

Israel's artistic swimming team consists of Maya Dorf, Shelly Bobritsky, Noy Gazela, Shani Sharaizin, Ariel Nashi, Nicole Nakhshonov, Kati Kunin, Neta Robichak, Polina Prykazchikova and Avital Podkofiev, led by the coaches Anna Teres, Larisa Kunin and Svetlana Belcher.
Even before that, Prikazchikova opened the performances for the team in the free solo exercise.
The Israeli reached the final from eighth place.
With a score of 82.4333 points on her exercise, a tenth of a point behind the Swiss swimmer and 1.7 points ahead of the British swimmer.
A total of 22 competitors jumped into this exercise, and the first 12 advanced to the finals to be held on Sunday.
