After Israel's historic opening day at the European Athletics Championships in Munich, Germany, in which no less than 4 medals were won, including one gold, today (Wednesday) the delegation continues to succeed, after triple jumper Hana Minenko advanced to the finals.
Minenko opened the competition, after being disqualified in the first attempt, but in the next attempt she managed to produce a result of 14.06 meters, and in the third she was disqualified again.
In the end, this result was enough for her to advance to the final that will take place on Friday at 21:55, from sixth place overall.
Just two weeks ago, Minenko failed to secure her place in the World Championship finals, and she came to the current championship to try to rectify that.
In the magnificent resume of the 32-year-old Minenko, who was ranked fourth before the competition, there is already a medal in the important continental championship, when in 2016, she won the silver medal, while in the same color, she also won the world championship in 2015.
