European markets closed higher on Wednesday after the announcement of a slowdown in US inflation in July, investors anticipating a softening of the rate hike policy of the US Central Bank (Fed).
In Frankfurt, the Dax gained 1.23%, the CAC 40 in Paris took 0.52% and the Milan Stock Exchange 0.95%.
London advanced 0.25% in the latest trade.
