Expansion with eight containers: With a temporary solution, the Hohenpolding kindergarten is fit for the next few years.

- It had long been clear that there would not be enough space for a third kindergarten group in Hohenpolding.
However, when the planned outsourcing concept failed due to the delays in construction at the Korbinian-Aigner community center, an interim solution had to be found.
There are now eight containers between the children's home and the multi-purpose hall.
This ensures accommodation for at least two years.
The property, which is part of the gym parking lot, was already leased by the municipality.
Only a frost-proof substructure had to be erected on top, and in the course of this the water supply via the multi-purpose hall and the sewage supply via the nearby canal had to be laid.
The eight containers, which offer a total of around 120 square meters of space for the mixed-age group of one to six year olds, were procured from Deggendorf.
There they have already been used by a kindergarten.
"The decisive advantage, because we were able to take over basic furniture and important facilities such as child-friendly toilets and panic doors", reports Mayor Alfons Beilhack.
Four of the containers form a group room, the others house the entrance area, a cloakroom, the sanitary facilities, a small kitchen and a baby changing room.
The municipality is renting the temporary building from a company for a gross monthly rate of EUR 1900 - initially for two years, but with the option of an annual extension.
The nursery staff was increased by the nurses Claudia Hansuchke and Laura Windstosser, the corresponding special permit came from the Catholic Church, which is responsible for the Children's Home of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary.
The community pays special attention to the safety of children.
The containers do have the panic doors mentioned, which serve as electrically secured escape routes.
Since the employees of the building yard were already busy with paving an embankment and paving the entrance area, it was decided to additionally secure the alternative building with a fence.
This provides additional protection from the surrounding streets, and the existing zebra crossing provides access to the playground on the kindergarten.
"In view of the expected numbers, however, we cannot avoid the permanent extension," said Beilhack, looking to the future.
It will probably remain with three kindergarten groups and a great demand for crèche places.
Therefore, one is already in contact with planners, the first drafts have already been discussed.
Beilhack's idea would be a nature kindergarten for Hohenpolding, but finding the staff would be difficult.
In general, it would be a supplementary concept, but because of the crèche places alone, the structural expansion of the children's home is inevitable.
