Sagi Muki was a big disappointment today (Tuesday) when he lost in the quarterfinals and failed to threaten one of the medals.
But Said Moulay, his good friend who represented Iran and now represents Mongolia, had great success in this weight category (up to 81 kg) when he qualified for the final and won the silver medal.

Mulai opened his way with a win over an Azeri opponent.
He then defeated a Georgian opponent in the iPhone and also achieved an iPhone over an Austrian opponent who had earlier defeated Sagi Muki.
In the grand final Moulay met the Japanese Technori Nagasa, who defeated in the second semi-final the Belgian Matthias Cassia.
Moulay held up to the gold score where the Japanese managed to get a score and celebrated another Japanese gold medal in judo.
As a reminder, Moulay decided to abandon Iran due to several cases in which he was forced to retire from government teaching competitions in his homeland so as not to compete with Sagi Muki, with whom he shares the same weight category up to 81 kg. Moulay and his family in Iran to retire from the competition and deliberately lose, following which the World Judo Federation punished Iran and prevented it from participating in competitions, while the athlete himself moved to live in Germany and compete under the Mongolian flag.
