Delek Motors, importer of BMW motorcycles to Israel, announces the start of marketing of the updated K1600 family.
At the heart of the whole family beats the 1,649 cc in-line six-cylinder engine, one of the best power units you'll find on two wheels. It delivers 160 hp that arrives 1,000 rpm lower than before at 6,750 rpm thanks to a series of improvements in engine control and sensors new ones
The torque figure is 18.3 kg - like a small car. The improvements also bring it into compliance with the Euro 5 air pollution standard.
As with every model update, the motorcycles also receive a series of technologies that are now integrated into them. and a new calibration for the electronic adaptive shock absorbers that know how to change the nature of the suspension operation automatically as well as the 10.25 screen as a dashboard.

The K family spans four models that use the same base, but take each for a different specific use.
In the GTL intended for long-term trips for two riders, you can find an additional rear box with a generous backrest for the vehicle.
The GT version forgoes the box in favor of a lower center of gravity and a sportier riding experience.
The K1600B is BMW's interpretation of the American "bugger" motorcycles, those that are on the seam between touring and custom motorcycles with flowing lines and a low profile.
The Grand America is a sort of touring version of the B that adds a rear box and luxury accessories to a motorcycle designed for longer riding ranges.

As the flagship family of a motorcycle manufacturer that has never been known for particularly accessible prices, even in their current round, the members of the K1600 are tools that are on the more expensive side of the price range in Israeli motorcycles.
The cheapest of them is the K1600GT in the PURE equipment level which will cost NIS 198,311, the SPORT trim level raises the price to NIS 203,311.
The GTL starts at NIS 205,311 for the PURE and 209,311 for the Exclusive.
The K1600B comes only in the PURE trim level and costs NIS 201,311 and the Grand America will cost NIS 210,311.
