The Excellence and Creativity Authority has extended the registration period for the Science Olympiad for Young Adults in Mathematics and Science for the year 2021 until April 3.
In conjunction with the International Day of Mathematics, on the fourteenth of this March, the Authority launched the Junior Scientific Olympiad in Mathematics and Science for the year 2021 for students of the seventh and eighth grades of basic education, and the registration period was set between 3-20 and 1-4-2021, provided that the candidate afterwards undergoes electronic qualification tests.
The Olympiad aims to develop adolescents 'skills in mathematics and science and teach them the skill of managing priorities, organizing time, and intellectual and scientific skills by solving problems in an innovative and creative manner, moving away from the normal or stereotypical method, and testing the contestants' knowledge with stimulating questions outside the curriculum context and in line with the mental life expectancy of the target group. To provide the national teams of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad with distinguished cases from them.
