The Supreme Commission for Scientific Research has extended the period for accepting applications for participation in the Conference of Syrian Researchers at Home and Expatriate for 2022 until the 29th of this month.

In a statement, which SANA received a copy of today, the authority indicated that researchers can view the steps to participate in the conference through its website and official page on (Facebook), indicating that the period for accepting applications has been extended to allow the largest number of Syrian researchers at home and abroad to participate in the conference activities. And benefit from their expertise in scientific themes.

The conference is scheduled to be held from July 4 to 6, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Syrian Virtual University and the Arab School of Science and Technology, under the title (Towards the Knowledge Economy.. The Role of Syrian Researchers in the Homeland and Expatriate).

The conference, which is being held by the authority for the fourth year in a row, aims to achieve effective research and applied partnerships between researchers at home and abroad, transfer and localize advanced technology and related intellectual property policies within several axes, including information and communication technology, smart systems, alternative energies technology, biotechnology, nanotechnology, environmental technology and its challenges, in addition to the axis Knowledge and its role in strengthening the national economy.
