latest applications, electronic services and technologies used in the field of informatics and communications are being hosted by the “Syria Hi-Tech” exhibition, which aims to revitalize the information and communication sector and digital transformation in Syria.


The Director of the Commercial Department at the Syrian Telecom Company, Engineer Ayham Dalloul, considered in a statement to SANA that participation in the exhibition aims to familiarize participants with the services available electronically through the Citizen Technology Service Centers and Directorate.


In turn, Razan Dabbas, Director of Public Relations at MTN, indicated that the company's participation in the exhibition aims to introduce customers to the Cash Mobile service, adding that soon the mobile bill payment service will be implemented.


From the pavilion of the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology in Damascus, Dr. Shadi Bitar pointed out that the pavilion includes the most prominent projects accomplished by students during their studies for investors in communications technology, control and industrial automation to see.


From EmmaTel, Sarah Abbas, the company's public relations officer, said that the exhibition is an opportunity to showcase all our new mobile devices and additional services.


Engineer Abdul Salam Aref, head of the Communications Department at the Communications and Postal Regulatory Commission, the regulator of the telecommunications sector in Syria, said: We are ready to receive citizens’ complaints regarding all telecommunications services and introduce visitors to the universal service fund managed by the Commission to secure communications in remote areas.


For its part, Syria International Islamic Bank presented, through its pavilion in the exhibition, a set of banking services and products and a package of digital banking solutions to its customers, including the point of sale service “POS” in response to the growing needs of customers and to enable them to deal with banking more efficiently.


The participation of the Syrian Scientific Informatics Association comes to introduce the association's activities from computer and robotic courses and projects such as the information technology incubator, according to Batoul Youssef of the association.


The Iranian participation had a distinguished presence, as Mahdi Jafari from the Data Processing Company, which is specialized in providing raw materials for communications, explained that his participation in the exhibition is a token of loyalty to Syria.


Masoud Ragai of Bayan Bardaz also pointed out that the aim of his participation is to present the company's products that help revitalize the telecommunications sector.


Maskan Nejad of Rassam Nekar Javid Company, which specializes in the production of smart electronic cards and laser prints, said: We have come to support Syria in the electronic field and provide benefits to it through cooperation and work with the Ministry of Communications and cell phone companies in the country.


Khatib Zadeh, External Relations Officer at Fnab, a company specialized in information technology, confirmed that the goal of his participation is to promote the company's products in the Syrian market, which include hardware and software, in addition to smart card readers and everything related to banking services such as cards. Banking lines and software applications for that.


The exhibition can be visited daily from five in the afternoon until eleven at night, and the transportation service is free for visitors from the President Bridge and Bab Touma around the clock throughout the days of the exhibition.
