Factions want a resolution for the construction of an ice rink

Two applications on the topic of ice rink have been received in the town hall.
Both want to secure the future of the ice skating clubs - and build the hall.
Fürstenfeldbruck – The factions of BBV, FW, SPD and ÖDP are demanding a resolution from the city council.
The councils should commit themselves to ice sports and promise to build an ice rink in several construction phases.
The indoor swimming pool should only be demolished when a supply block is in place as the first construction phase with functioning refrigeration technology and cabin wing.
The construction of the hall is to be continued in the near future.
Since there is no alternative after the demolition of the indoor swimming pool - the technology for the ice rink is located there - there is a risk of a loss of the season - and with it the end of the existence of the clubs, writes Götz (BBV) on behalf of the applicants.

The CSU also demands that the new construction of the Amperoase be planned in such a way that ice skating and games are still guaranteed.
The administration should plan the technology bar accordingly in consultation with the municipal utilities.
To counter-finance an ice rink, the CSU proposes selling the northern cattle market place to an investor.
Andreas Lohde and Georg Jakobs write that the Stadtwerke would reach the limits of their resilience by building the Amperoase with the dimensions decided by the city council.
Therefore, the plan that the municipal utilities should implement the technology block at their own expense cannot be kept.
The sale of the cattle market area could help to realize and finance both projects.
