Oil prices fell in early Asian trade today, as traders awaited more crude supplies to be pumped into the market coupled with weak demand.
Reuters reported that Brent crude futures fell 53 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $96.87 a barrel.
West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell 16 cents, or 0.7 percent, to $91.32 a barrel.
The International Energy Agency and the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) are expected to release their monthly oil export data later today.
