Market sources, citing figures from the American Petroleum Institute, announced that oil and fuel stocks in the United States decreased last week.
Reuters quoted the sources, who requested anonymity, as saying that the Petroleum Institute data showed that crude stocks fell by 1.8 million barrels in the week ending on September 30, while gasoline stocks fell by 3.5 million barrels.
