After a fatal attack with a hatchet on his former boss, a 36-year-old was sentenced to life imprisonment.
The district court of Konstanz saw it as proven that the man had killed his ex-employer in January 2021 in his home in Hohenfels (district of Konstanz) and seriously injured his 9 and 13-year-old sons.
Konstanz - "We are dealing with an undoubtedly heinous act," said presiding judge Arno Hornstein when the verdict was pronounced on Thursday.
The younger of the two sons in particular is still suffering from the consequences to this day.
