September 26th is the date for voting in Germany when the citizens elect the members of the German Bundestag, who in turn determine the Chancellor.
But who will be the new head of government: Annalena Baerbock (The Greens), Olaf Scholz (SPD) or Armin Laschet (CDU)?
On Sunday, September 19, the last TV triall before the federal election is due.
The speech duel is considered the last big test.

Don't mess up: This is the motto of the three candidates for chancellor Baerbock, Scholz and Laschet before the last of a total of three TV trialles.
The round starts in the evening at 8.15 p.m. on the channels ProSieben, Sat.1 and Kabel 1 - the preliminary reporting starts on all channels before that.

Even long-standing political observers in Berlin were genuinely surprised when the SPD took big steps past the Union in the polls over the past few weeks.
Percentage point by percentage point, the Social Democrats widened the gap to the Union.

it was a real shock for the CDU and CSU: The SPD around its chancellor candidate Scholz was suddenly five percent ahead, according to the INSA opinion trend.
In the meantime, Laschet and the Union seem to have made up some ground again.
Nevertheless, there is enormous pressure on Laschet before the last TV triall before the federal election.
The appearance on the big TV stage on Sunday has to be right in order to turn the trend.
The Greens are currently at 16.0 percentage points.
If the Greens candidate Annalena Baerbock had in the meantime already hoped for the Chancellery, the 40-year-old woman from Lower Saxony and her party should now be primarily concerned with creating the best possible starting point for coalition negotiations.
