The Federal Labor Court in Erfurt is today dealing with the payment of mini-jobbers during the closure of specialist shops in the corona lockdown.
It is the first corona dispute to be heard by the Federal Labor Court, said a court spokeswoman.
The lawsuit concerns the claim of a mini-jobber from Lower Saxony to payment during a business closure ordered by the authorities in April 2020.
Erfurt - As a result, the plaintiff could not work for a month as a saleswoman in a shop for sewing machines and accessories.
She insists on her pay, arguing that the business closure during the pandemic is an operational risk that employers must bear.
The lower courts upheld their action.
