On Tuesday, shortly after 6 p.m., passers-by saw a woman trying to flee her husband, from whom she was separated.

She ended up collapsing to the ground, gunshot wounds in both legs.

The man then recovers a can of gasoline and sprinkles it before setting it on fire, according to the first elements of the investigation.

Frédérique Porterie, public prosecutor of Bordeaux, confirmed these facts this Thursday afternoon.

She adds that the alleged murderer did not then have the right to come into contact with the victim, as part of a probationary stay.

The victim had filed a complaint against his executioner after an assault.

He was unfavorably known to the police, and was convicted on this occasion.

The autopsy revealed two openings in the left thigh and the right thigh.

The perpetrator shot the victim, who was still alive when he sacrificed him.

She died due to "respiratory distress following a combustion", confirms the prosecutor.

The respondent fired a total of four times.

In police custody, the alleged murderer said he was "convinced that his wife had a lover and that she was manipulating him", details the prosecutor. He said he wanted to punish her without wishing to kill her. "Burn it a little to leave marks". After making these explanations, the suspect no longer wished to answer the investigators' questions.

The man had parked his van on the morning of the assassination, at 7.15 am. Around 6 p.m., his wife left her home and walked up the avenue in his direction. The suspect then gets out of his van and shoots twice "to prevent any leakage", before taking the gasoline can and spraying the victim. Despite the intervention of a neighbor, the murderer was able to immolate the victim before fleeing "in small strides" and also and partially set fire to the victim's home.
