Ferdinand Piëch, the former CEO of Volkswagen, is dead. He collapsed in a restaurant and later died in a hospital in Rosenheim. Ursula Piëch confirmed the death of her husband in a message. He died "suddenly and unexpectedly," she wrote, announcing a burial in the immediate family. Her husband had been an avid engineer and car lover until recently.
