The Ffp2 mask remains mandatory "for passengers and crews of flights operating on national territory
(whose route therefore foresees origin and destination in Italy), regardless of the country of issue of the air carrier's license".
This is what we read on the Enac guidelines, which ANSA was able to consult.
"For the access and use of aircraft operated by air carriers with an Italian license - it also reads - it is always mandatory to wear an FFP2 mask, both for passengers and for airline staff".
As regards flights operating on international routes, the regulations in force in the country that issued the license to the air carrier are considered applicable.
In the guidelines, ENAC recommends aircraft operators to "effectively inform passengers about the measures required on board the aircraft in a timely manner, as well as about the rules and health measures in force in the states of departure and destination".
