Sixty-five years ago, the Fiat 500 revolutionized the way of moving around the city and even on longer journeys despite its small size.

It was the completion of the phenomenon of mass motorization, started with the 600, and the beginning of a constant adaptation of the mobility offer to the new needs of motorists.

Thanks to the e-Motor 500X Hybrid it becomes queen of the city

Now the name '500' is still linked to a phase of profound transformation: with the New 500, the popular 100% electric car, Fiat is effectively contributing to the transformation of the mobility of our Millennium.

But this Bev of great success throughout Europe is now accompanied (after 500 Hybrid and Panda Hybrid) by the decisive contribution of the 500X Hybrid which - in full compliance with the 'It's only green when it's green for all' strategy - is bringing the electrification of Fiat to new and wider groups of users, taking an important step towards sustainable mobility for all.

The heart of the 500X Hybrid is the internal combustion engine (ICE) 1.5 GSE T4 turbo petrol, capable of delivering 130 HP and combined with a 48 Volt electric motor that provides 15 additional kW.

The hybrid system also provides a 12 Volt belt-driven starter for a powerful and quiet driving experience.

In combination with the new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, it guarantees a smooth ride, reduces CO2 emissions (-14 g / km) and reduces fuel consumption by 10%.

Furthermore, there is no need to recharge the battery and it is possible to enjoy all the advantages of a full hybrid engine without any limitations.

Furthermore, depending on the area of the country, it is possible to obtain access to the ZTL areas, free parking and tax incentives.

The Hybrid engine is available for all versions of the 500X, so as to allow this decisive step forward towards electrification by choosing the car that best suits your needs and in line with your tastes, including customizations.

In fact, the Cult, Club, Cross and Sport configurations and with the two bodies Hatchback and Dolcevita, the latter with soft top, are foreseen.

"Fiat's electrification process continues - said Olivier Francois, CEO of Fiat and Cmo of Stellantis during the presentation event of the new 500X Hybrid and Tipo Hybrid - with the new 48 Volt Hybrid technology, the range is totally electrified. Today we can offer all our customers a sustainable mobility solution, whatever their mobility needs, with simple technology and at an affordable cost. But it's not over. Our journey towards sustainable mobility for all continues, the goal , as I have already announced, is to launch a new vehicle every year as early as next year, each with an electric engine and to have a fully electric range from 2027 ".

The secret of the 500X Hybrid's performance lies in the synergy between the next-generation FireFly engine, a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo petrol capable of delivering up to 130 HP with 240Nm of torque, and the 48 Volt e-Motor. and 15 KW, housed in the new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Thanks to the advanced hybrid technology, the work of the FireFly is supplemented by the support of a BSG electric motor that allows a silent and 100% electric start, and by the e-motor that improves the efficiency and dynamics of the vehicle, also allowing you to travel with the thermal engine off.

The 500X Hybrid is in fact the first engine in the Fiat company that uses the electric motor, completely disconnecting the petrol engine which - at the level of the total WLTP homologation cycle - can remain inactive up to 47% of the time and, considering only the cycle urban, this percentage reaches up to 62% so much so that - again according to the urban WLTP cycle - the new Hybrid 48 Volt proves to be a petrol that consumes less than a Diesel (5.1l / 100 km against the 5.4 of the 500X 1.6 diesel engine) .

The advantages offered by the new 1.5 T4 Hybrid 48 Volt engine are even higher in comparison with the previous 1.3 T4 (500X), in this case the reduction of CO2 emissions reaches up to 11% (WLTP cycle), without sacrifices in terms of performance and with a very high ride comfort thanks to the practically unnoticeable transitions between electric and thermal propulsion.

Furthermore, this engine is the brightest in the range, as demonstrated by the time of 9.4 seconds in the 0-100 because the e-Motor delivers torque almost instantaneously, therefore it promptly supports the performance of the heat engine and optimizes its performance. efficiency by mitigating the turbulence effect

Finally, it should be emphasized that the
