Finsing and Dorfen have had difficult weeks.

Today they meet.

Finsing/Dorfen – After the 6-0 defeat in Waldperlach, there was a need to speak at the district football league team FC Finsing, who are expecting fifth-placed TSV Dorfen at 7 p.m. today.

"We've had a lot of one-on-one meetings.

You can't just go back to business as usual after a gossip like that," says assistant coach Stefan Gasda.

Every Finsinger is aware that TSV Dorfen is of a different caliber than Waldperlach.

Gasda: “Maybe we have to be satisfied with a draw.

That would be a start.

We should win the games that come next.”

Next week we will go to Saaldorf, then co-promoted TSV Peterskirchen will be a guest, before tail light SB Rosenheim will give their business card in Finsing.

“These are the opponents we should be on an equal footing with.

We just have to start a series now,” says Gasda.

The saving bank is now four points away, so a sense of achievement would be all the more important.

"We have a home game on a Oktoberfest weekend, so it would be perfect if we broke something," hopes Gasda: "We're not that bad in general.

Gasda: "We have to get him under control, but we also have to get Michael Friemer under control on the right wing."

Exhausting Dorfen days

But TSV Dorfen also has respect for today's opponent.

Despite the situation in the table, the injured assistant coach Armin Feckl warns: "We played against Finsing in the cup last year when they were still in the district league.

But they played us really well and showed our limits with their 2-0 win as the underdog.”

Despite his recent cruciate ligament surgery, Feckl was already acting as a coach again in Eching, since in addition to Christoph Deissenböck, temporary coach Markus Wetzel was unable to work.

He rates FC as a "very strong team".

It was not an easy week for Dorfens Kicker.

"But we want to counteract this with appropriate training sessions," says Feckl.

In any case, Wetzel will be on the bench again today.

Feckl hopes that head coach Deißenböck will soon be back on his feet and everything will go as usual.
